"20 Minutes of Oxygen" Video Fund

Recently The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets have been presented with an opportunity to use both a science-fiction themed ‘space bar’ and a high definition digital video camera for a video project. We chose to re-record our popular “20 Minutes of Oxygen” song and film a music video to go with it.

Coincidentally, this year marks the 40th anniversary of lead singer Toren Atkinson being brought into this grisly world, and he’s decided to eschew the usual materialistic tradition and ask all his friends and fans to donate whatever they can to help produce the above video.

The band will need about $4-500 to buy/rent props and lights, and pay for the crew. Naturally the video will be released on youtube and will go on the DVD/CD album, tentatively titled “The Ultraviolet Album” currently in the works by the band.

If you’d like to contribute to this cause, please use the button below to donate any amount, or go to the band’s store http://stores.ebay.com/deadspacegod and pick up some Thickets swag for yourself or your enemies.

Additionally, if you live in Vancouver and know where we can get ahold of space helmets/suits, space chairs, and other paraphernalia, or wish to use your professional expertise to be involved in the making of the video, please contact us at thickets@uniserve.com

Thanks for your support and may the Eldritch be with you!
