Who knows a good program to edit mpgs and convert them to avi (not necessarily in that order)? I’ve got cartoons on VHS that need to be converted to DVD for the Saturday Morning Cartoon Party!

    Guys at work use this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MEncoder

    I haven’t used it, but I can probably help you get it to work.

    For general conversion, Alltoavi is a pretty good program.
