This year I’d like to do a different kind of art project that I hope you will enjoy. Many of you know about my longtime ongoing project The World Wildlife Federation of Justice (links below). A while ago I got pricing from Scott Shaw, the original artist of Captain Carrot & His Amazing Zoo Crew comic in the 80′s, and Ian Boothby, writer for Simpsons and Futurama comics. I won’t give their rates, but I’ve set the donation goal for $600. What does that get us? A full story from Ian (3-6 pages) and at least one inked page from Scott. The more I get over the goal of $600, the more pages I can get from Scott. I’ll provide the rest of the art. Ultimately the results will be published in a book, and at least one page, if not the whole story, will be released for free on the web. See the sidebar for more details!
